About Mary and our school

Mary has been involved heavily in canine sports since 1993 where she fell in love with all of the ways to connect with your four-legged family.  For over 20 years, she was involved with the Superdogs and traveled all over North America with the show, competed in flyball, agility, dock diving, barn hunt, lure coursing, sprinter, confirmation, and herding.

Currently, Mary has dogs that compete in many different disciplines and is always up for the challenge, fun of trying something new and learning with her dogs. Very active in flyball, agility and the dock diving community; she finds the passion in not only working with her own dogs to improve their skills and bonding but also teaching others to enjoy training and achieving a similar bond with their own four-legged family members.

The fun and enjoyment found in the dock diving world has helped Mary’s overall skills improve, “there is nothing better than seeing a dog come for the first time and doesn’t know how to swim, to jumping off the big dock with a smile on their faces”

With a smile and plenty of energy, Mary will be found helping out on the dock as much as possible. “We are very excited to have a facility where people can learn to jump their dogs and have a blast doing it.”

We are very excited to announce an amazing partnership with K9 Pool School.
Mary Yong would like to formally welcome Lorraine Jurovich. Lorraine and Mary started training together in 1992 where they both shared a passion for dog training and canine sports. It was evident right from the start that we would be lifelong friends. Lorraine became passionate about dock diving in 2019 where her Australian Kelpie, Whim, found a true love for the sport and Lorraine's assistance to help run events was a blessing.

Her passion was evident from the start and she continued to thrive in helping guide new people into the sport, together we traveled to Oregon many times for competitions, as well as attending the Canadian Regionals in 2020. Lorraine spent countless hours at the pool learning, assisting and coaching, enjoying every minute of it
